This pistol is complete with the original black checkered plastic grips and a single Walther marked magazine.New member looking for some help in identification of a Walther PPK.32 auto.I've hit a ton of websites trying to identify this pistol, and while I've found a lot of info, I can't find a picture like it.Has some holster wear on slide, but other than that, pretty clean with original bluing. The serial number is 383199P, and is also stamped 'ac' under the serial on the slide, but not by the handle. Regardless of how you interpret the serial number, this is certainly a "one-of-a-kind" Walther pistol that has an original "5-Digit" serial number. If you include the number "1", it would indicate that this pistol was made in the normal run of Walther PP commercial pistols. What probably happened was that during the normal serial numbering process at the Walther factory, the single number "1" was accidentally dropped off, leaving only the remaining 5 digits. One could make all types of conjecture about this serial number however, in looking at the actual number, it appears that there is a larger gap/space between the number "9" and the obverse side of the magazine release button. As noted the unique aspect is that the serial number is only 5-digits long being "99415" followed by the standard "P" suffix. The right side of the slide and chamber area have the standard pre-war commercial "Crown/N" proof, early 60 degree safety lever with the commercial high polish blue finish that you would find on an early pistol.

The pistol itself has all the standard PP markings of the "WALTHER" name inside a banner, followed by the two-line Walther factory address of "Waffenfabrik Walther, Zella Mehlis (Thur) over Walther's Patent 7.65m/m" followed by "MOD PP", with the matching scratched in last three digits "415" of the serial number. This is a very unique and rare example of a "5 digit" serial number on an original pre-war Walther PP pistol.
