I see myself in the book through Hermione and Harry because they are both selfless when it comes to other people and I feel like when it comes to others, I try my best in everything to make sure that they are always out of harm’s way. Harry and his friends used teamwork to defeat a lot of their obstacles that they faced whether it was alone at first or together. Lessons such as teamwork really does make the dream work. The outcome made me think about life and opened my eyes to greater lessons. At the end of the book I thought that Harry has the potential to be a great wizard and with the help that he has been getting, he will be one. He is surprised to hear the story behind his father and professor Snape and what professor Snape’s true intentions were from what Harry saw him as. He also learned a lot about his peers and professors.

  • So I would say that it is a must read for younger audiences, but it’s a good read in general. But I would say it is most enjoyable for elementary school students, who can very well relate to the fantasy world. Harry Potter and a sorcerer stone is a good book to spark joy and imagination for anyone, regardless of age. He unexpectedly throws up the golden ball winning the game for his team. Eventually Harry Potter stands on his broomstick and tries to reach for the ball, but he falls off the broomstick in a very tense moment. This book is full of fantasies and imagination like at one point, Harry Potter is asked to catch a flying golden ball while flying on his broomstick. Harry decides to go after the sorcerer’s stone before the wizard reaches it, but his loyal friends, Hermione and Ron don’t let Harry face this danger alone. He then learns that a powerful wizard and his minions are after the sorcerer’s stone that will make this evil wizard immortal and undefeatable. The book is about 11 year old Harry Potter, who receives a letter saying that he is invited to attend Hogwarts, school of witchcraft and wizardry. This novel is the first of the seven famous Harry Potter books by J.K.
